My husband and I went for lunch. We had gone to the other location, but this is our first time at the location here.. Very pleasant atmosphere clean employees were very courteous and fast , my husband had a beef dip sandwich with french fries, it was delicious. I had matzoh ball soup ,very filling. Just had room to digest the incredible pastrami! And it was incredible. Next time, maybe half a sandwich ... and cheesecake!

This place is a MUST and definitely not just a 'Deli'... Was driving through the area and was in need of some lunch... The food did not disappoint!. I'm not a huge pastrami fan but with such good reviews I caved and got 'The 555' |Grilled pastrami | Coleslaw | Melted Swiss | Thousand Island & Mustard on an Onion Roll, yum yum yum!! Also had to try the 'Stuffed Cabbage' being a cabbage fan & their house made sweet and sour sauce complimented the beef and cabbage so well. The only thing that could have been better was if our server didn't leave for the day and had someone else cover our table... Keep it up Brent's! I'll definitely be back!

Love this place -- it's a great location to meet up with friends from out of town. I usually just get a patty melt.I am creature of habit but I know what I like. Matzo ball soup is nice too.

We hadn't been in a few years, and were in the neighborhood, so decided to stop in. My son ordered the liver and onions that came with mashed potatoes and gravy and coleslaw. I had the French dip with steak fries and coleslaw. My son loved his dinner and ate every bite! The coleslaw has a horseradish taste that I enjoyed. The fries were crispy outside and soft fluffy inside. Large portion of prime rib was on my French dip. Accompanied with an au jus. Service is excellent and they were great about getting us refills. Large portions, I took half of mine home.

What a great Pastrami sandwich... As someone who has been to Katz in NYC a few times I was so happy to get invited here on a rand trip to thousand oaks. Be prepared to get stuffed and pay $24 for a great sandwhich. Its my new favorite sandwhich in the area.

OMG the Bagel chips & pickles! -They truly are chefs kiss and our fave thing about Brent's lol! We had the pea soup and chicken noodle soup since it was cold out. Very traditional soups and tasty. We love our bus boy and servers, they are always so helpful and kind. They ensure you are taken care of and feel welcome. Love the big open space and how clean it is. They seat you so quickly so never have to wait more than 5-10 minutes. I look forward to returning and trying more items! :)

My gosh, this was such a wonderful place. Their pastrami is phenomenal and tapioca pudding was the best I've had. I thought Phillipe's had the best, but I was wrong. This place is very homey and welcoming. Service was spectacular and I was taken care of Holly. She is amazing just like their pastrami! She took the time to explain everything and struck great conversation! The corned beef was also great, but I think I'll stick to their pastrami. One bite of it, and it absolutely sent me. I had just flown into LAX hours before in the morning and actually didn't even sleep the previous night, so I was really running on fumes. Everything felt like a dream, I could've fallen asleep on the food if I wanted to, but I didn't. The Matzo Ball soup was okay, kind of on the bland side but I think it's one of those things where it's just gotta be that way and if you mess with the recipe people will complain. The Matzo was very plain but for some reason was still nice to eat since the dough and texture was different. I suppose I am used to eating heavier seasoned soups. I am contemplating on coming back for a second time this LA trip, I gotta have a bite of that pastrami again!
